Design
When I held the new HTC Desire 310 I was really surprised. I looked at the cost and I was like man they are compromise the feel of the phone- good news they haven’t. Their usual matte material build quality has made it’s way on the new budget smartphone by HTC. HTC Desire 310 has a decent size and is easily portable. The speakers are clear but the louder they go, the noisy they seem. Overall the design is pretty good, good enough to be comfy in your hands.
Display
A little disappointment would be on this side of the phone. Though there is a 4.5 inch display on the HTC Desire 310, the resolution is just 480×854 pixels. The display looks decent but compared to other phones around this price, the Moto G has a 720p HD display, so does many Micromax phones or Karbonn and people care about the display a lot. The display sells the phone. Don’t get me wrong this display is good but I am saying other have a better display. The detailing is not that good because it seems a bit pixelated but the colour saturation is spot on.
Camera
The 5MP sensor on the HTC Desire 310 is a very fair camera. It takes decent photographs with average importance to detailing and ok-ish colour display. The user interface is not that great and you do not get a bunch load of features on the camera and the front camera is a really poor VGA one.
Software
HTC Desire 310 runs on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean on the HTC Sense 5.1 User Interface. I really like the Sense UI because it is less cluttered than the TouchWiz. HTC Blinkfeed is one of the more useful places to get your app info and it has a cool bunch of features that you will enjoy thoroughly on the HTC Desire 310. Google Play store is the place you can go for apps.
Performance
HTC Desire 310 is on beast mode with the 1.2GHz Quad Core Mediatek processor and 1GB RAM. It is a seriously fast phone and poses threat to any other in the same price range proximity. The battery life is great, it will give you 2 days on moderate usage. HTC Desire 310 comes with 4GB internal memory expandable to up to 32GB.
