The yet-to-be-announced HTC One (M8) Mini leaked in a press image over the weekend, thanks to @evleaks, showing a similar all-metal design to its older brother. The image reveals that the smaller-sister-from-another-mister will come in the same colors as the One (M8) – gunmetal grey, glacial silver, and champagne gold. The extra-curvy body from this year’s One (M8) is there as well. It is missing one major feature, though, the Duo Camera.
Previously revealed by @evleaks, the specs should included a 4.5-inch 720p display, 1GB RAM, Snapdragon 400 processor, 16GB internal storage, on-screen buttons, Sense 6.0, 5MP front camera, and a single-sensor 13MP rear camera. That all sounds solid for a “mini” phone. I also can’t help but admit that I’m excited to see what that big boy, 13MP camera is capable of with HTC’s latest camera software. So on “Mini” phones, HTC is fine with a phone that takes pictures with detail and resolution, but on their flagship, they would rather go with the gimmicks. Interesting.
The device is rumored to be on its way to Verizon.
